Megan and I
enjoying tea
waiting for hours
in uncertainty
grasping the chairs
lying the floors
tired eyes
never saw the doors
Way outside
in the borderline
like clippings in a magazine
we never were able to read
and then geometry came in
and all the shapes were real
gravity expressed itself
right in front of us
and we laid wasted,
watching the train go on
the last railway out of here
and we were gone
Megan and I
alone were we
holding hands
and sharing tea
we reached out
and fell right down
tired eyes
caught the floor
Way outside
in the borderline
like clippings in a magazine
we never were able to read
like collision was set off
and the grass was set to fade
and the consoling god demanded us
to be set completely free
and then geometry came in
and all the shapes were real
gravity expressed itself
right in front of us
and we laid wasted,
watching the train go on
the last railway out of here
and we were gone
Slept for days
in each other's arm
never knowing home
nor a place to call our own
a friend in pain
is all we were
and as I realised this
I woke up alone again
